In celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re shining a spotlight on some of our favorite Latino, Latine, Latinx, and Hispanic photographers on social media.

From quieter, slice-of-life moments to highly stylized editorials, these are just a few of the photographers who inspire us year-round on our feeds.

1. Ashley Holstein | @ashleyholstein

Boricua photographer Ashley Holstein, is a wedding, family, and maternity photographer based out of Nashville. Known for her ability to find magic in the quiet, tender moments, Ashley’s work brings out the beauty in simple, intimate scenes. For those who love timeless, resonant keepsakes, Ashley’s body of work is certainly worth checking out.

2. Bowie Shoots | @bowieshoots

Bolivian photographer Andrea Castanon, known as Bowie Shoots, travels across the country creating hilarious and distinctive pet portraits. Her work often plays with irony and humor, featuring everything from cheesy 80s family portrait recreations to quirky costume-themed shoots. 3. Valeria Denise Metz | @momsonfilm & @valeriametzz

LA-based Latina photographer Valeria Denise Metz beautifully illustrates tender moments in maternity and motherhood through her unique southern Californian lens. Working under the moniker momsonfilm, her portraits offer an organic, grounded, yet dreamy glimpse into the often overlooked experiences of motherhood.

4. GUNZLS | @gunzls & @gunzls.shots

Salvadoran-American photographer GUNZLS, based out of Texas, is known for his bold, out-of-the-box editorials. His work features a highly stylized and unique sense of form, blending dramatic angles with an eye for mise-en-scène. GUNZLS’ approach loves to play with the boundaries of fashion and portrait photography, depicting captivating and unforgettable subjects.

5. Mitch Tellez | @mitchtellez

Originally from Mexicali, Baja California, Mitch Tellez has established herself as a wedding and engagement photographer in San Diego. Her fluid upbringing between the U.S. and Mexico is also reflected in her ability to connect with couples and tell their love stories regardless of their background. Mitch’s work is intimate, heartfelt, and filled with genuine emotion, showcasing loving moments that feel deeply personal and connected.

6. Juan Esteban Carmona | @merivingian & @esteban.ca

Juan Esteban Carmona is a Colombian born travel photographer, who takes viewers on a journey through both beachside and urban landscapes. With his style lean into a deep film grain, Juan capturing a strong sense of time and space. His Instagram feed is like an experimental travel log, leaving us with a bit of FOMO from time to time. Luckily, Juan shares his photography experiments on TikTok every once in awhile, like his recent find with a Canon AS-7 underwater camera.

7. Diego Palomino | @diegopalomino

Diego Palomino captures the vibrant energy of city life with exceptional portraits that tell the stories of New York local, black and brown experiences. His collaborations with brands like Adidas, Tecate, and Uniqlo highlight his unique intuition for color. Diego’s work has a way of making everyday scenes look cinematic. Needless to say, we are big fans.

8. Ruben Natal | @realrubennatalsanmiguel

Puerto Rican born photographer Ruben Natal-San Miguel is known for his striking urban portraiture and cultural documentation. He offers such a dynamic lens and is such a powerful story teller. Before pursuing art, Natal-San Miguel worked in finance and was inside the World Trade Center during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Surviving that day reshaped his path, inspiring him to devote his work to honoring the lives of marginalized and oppressed communities, especially LGBTQ+ people and communities of color.

9. Amina Cruz | @aminacruz.studio

Amina Cruz is a queer Latinax photographer whose portrait and documentary work explores identity, community, and intimacy often spotlighting marginalized voices. Her Instagram is a vibrant mic of art and activism, making her a must-follow for fresh and thought provoking storytelling.
