5 Ways To Celebrate Dad From a Distance

5 Ways To Celebrate Dad From a Distance

Father's Day may look a little different this year but we won't let our favorite dudes go without a celebration. Whether you are celebrating virtually, 6 feet apart, or taking a raincheck on plans, make sure the guy that is always there for you gets a little extra love this year.

1. Plan a virtual celebration!

Plan a virtual celebration for dad on House Party, Zoom, or Jackbox.tv. If you have siblings, grandparents, or any other family members that he would like to see, include them as a surprise so it's extra special when he logs on.

2. Print your favorite memory.

Dig up your favorite memory with dad and have it printed and mailed to him. Create a Buzz Book with 40 photos if you can't just pick one or mail him a 5x7'' Metal Print from your favorite trip together for him to keep at his desk.

3. Send his favorite meal!

Since the barbeque of dad's dreams may not be happening in person this year, send him dinner to share the love from a distance. Companies like GoldBelly allow you to send food from famous restaurants and bakeries around the country. If dad has a favorite local place he likes to support, have it delivered for lunch or dinner.

4. Do a drive-by.

If the stay at home orders have lifted in your state, consider a drive-by celebration for your dear old dad. Honk your horn, make a sign, and cheer for your favorite guy from the street, this way you can have a safely distanced visit without any risks involved. If dad doesn't live close, mail him a Photo Card and let him know how much you're missing him this year.

5. Have a beer taste testing!

Plan something special for pops! Get delivery of a few types of beers from a local brewery or even some whiskeys to try and host a virtual tasting with him. This thoughtful celebration will go a long way and when life resumes normal, you can take him out to get the real thing next year!

We you have a Happy Father's Day however you are celebrating! Tag us in your plans using the hashtag #NationsPhotoLab
