Nations Photo Lab and The Alzheimer's Association
More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. For anyone who has been impacted by this disease, you know how devastating it can be.
We at Nations Photo Lab are excited to share a few initiatives we have put in place to support the Alzheimer’s Association, who leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
Research finds that photos are more useful than words for memory recall in patients with mild Alzheimer’s Disease, and according to alzheimers.net, “image association through photographs can play a key role in allowing those living with Alzheimer’s to reminisce about pleasant times in their lives, just as it can also help them to be engaged in the present moment by helping them remember the people in their lives.”
Because of this, we’ve crafted a Custom Memory Books available for purchase, and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
