April 29, 2020:

• To date, the NPL production staff has made 168,147 face shields and shipped out 116,566

April 16, 2020:

• We have officially manufactured 100,000 face shields that have been shipped out to essential workers on the frontlines!

• The NPL team produced 9,440 face shields

April 8, 2020:

• Fox 5 DC featured the Nations Photo Lab PPE efforts to support the medical community
• We have officially donated 100k worth of face shields to support local hospitals and COVID-19 hot spot areas
• The NPL team produced 10,100 face shields

April 7, 2020:

• Nations Photo Lab's facility produced 9,550 face shields

April 6, 2020:

• The Nations Photo Lab team has manufactured and shipped face shields to over 50 hospitals
• 13 New staff members started to assist in producing shields
• The team shipped over 5,600 masks out
• The medical staff at LifeBridge Health Cardiovascular Institute received their PPE, “We can’t thank you enough for these masks!”

April 2, 2020:

• Nine new staff members joined the team to help with the production of PPE
• Produced 3,150 face shields
• Shipped 1,520 face shields

March 31, 2020:

• Medical staff from Katz Women’s Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center received Nations Photo Lab produced PPE
• Received material to produce 90K shields
• Shields became ANSI z87.1 certified
• Shipped 4,480 masks

March 30, 2020:

• Produced 3,000 Shields
• Shipped Shields to 17 different health care providers and hospitals
• WMAR 2 News shared a story of our PPE efforts

March 27, 2020:

• Made 500 Shields
• Organized the warehouse to receive over 300 boxes of Material due on Monday
• Delivered our first two orders to local health care providers

March 26, 2020:

• Began to receive all materials and tools required to produce
• Set up the production floor to produce PPE at scale
• Made our first 50 shields to test our process and ensure quality
• Resized length of elastic and adjusted staple placement for comfort

March 25, 2020:

• Elastic samples arrived at our production facility in Baltimore, MD

• The necessary foam and elastic was ordered
• An employee picked up samples from a local vendor and brought them to our manufacturing facility
• The requested larger prototype was created

• The White House Task Force was in touch with us and approved our latest prototype, but said a larger shield would be better
• A Safety Committee was formed
• The Committee created safety protocol for all employees to follow

• We contacted dozens of suppliers of foam, plastic, and elastic materials so we could begin producing the shields in mass quantities
• Ryan secured 90,000 yards of elastic which is good for 180,000 shields

• CEO, Ryan Millman, and Engineer, Cheyne Smith developed an initial PPE shield prototype
