Every holiday season, I take the time to reflect on the year: what I did, where I went, who got married, who had a baby, et cetera. Looking through my photos from the year (and deciding which ones to print!), I’m reminded of everything I have to be grateful for. So, I asked the NPL team about their years, and what they’re thankful for this holiday season. Check it out!
“This holiday season I am very thankful for my grandparents, Mimi and Pa! 90 years old; full of grit, love, and wisdom! I cherish every moment we spend together.” – Andrea M.
“I, like a lot of people, am thankful for my family. Sidney just turned 2 at the end of October and she’s such a huge part of my life and the biggest ray of sunshine! I couldn’t have asked for a better year.” – Casie C.
“I’m super duper thankful for my dad’s smooth recovery after a heart attack and triple bypass surgery earlier this year.” – Lisa F.
“I am thankful for my family! Every year they are what I’m most thankful for but, this year was particularly special as my brother got married. Watching our family grow has been so exciting.” – Jenna G.
“I am thankful for my dog — Goliath, for the newest addition to our family — Riley, and for the bond that the two of them already share.” – Meghan M.
“Thankful for my family, my husband, and my new family!” – Allie B.
“I am thankful for the support system of my fiance and friends. They make ordinary moments extraordinary!” – Mora P.
And finally: I’m thankful that I got to travel a bit this year, most recently on a trip up to New England to visit one of my best friends. It was the perfect mix of adventure & relaxation – which I needed before heading into a busy holiday season!
