What is photo mounting, and why should I choose it for my prints?
Mounting adds a durable backing to your prints, helping them stay flat and making them easier to display. It’s a great option for a professional presentation, as well!
Can Mounted Prints be framed?
Yes, you can frame a Mounted Print (we'd suggest a thinner mount, though), but the prints that are added to our Framed Prints are actually already mounted before framing. So to save yourself some time and trouble of having to get your Mounted Print framed, you can order an NPL Framed Print!
What’s the difference between Styrene and Foamcore mounting?
Styrene is made from an extremely rigid plastic material that is resistant to warping and is 2mm thick, while Foamcore is made from an extremely lightweight, yet durable, polystyrene and comes in 3/16" thickness. Both provide excellent durability, so it’s really up to you which is better for your printing project.
How do I hang a Mounted Print?
Mounted prints don’t come with hanging hardware, but you can easily hang them using adhesive strips or frame them for a finished look.
