Every Gallery Block begins as a true photograph, exposed onto professional-grade Fujicolor Crystal Archive Super Type PDN photo paper for rich color and a glossy sheen, then hand-mounted onto a solid wood substrate that's 1" thick (1.5" for our largest sizes) so it can stand on its own without a frame. Choose from more than 60 edge designs or a full photo wrap for a seamless look, and every block is finished with a protective UV laminate that resists fading and scratches, wiping clean with just a damp cloth.

What is the thickness of your photo blocks?

Most sizes are 1" thick (about 2.5 cm). Our largest formats — 20x30", 24x30", and 24x36" — are 1.5" thick (about 3.8 cm). Keep in mind the extra depth means these blocks sit further off the wall, so check your hardware and wall space can accommodate it.

What's the best image resolution for Gallery Blocks?

Aim for at least 300 pixels per inch (ppi) for the sharpest results; 125 ppi is our minimum for decent quality, and we'll flag your photo if it falls below that. Larger blocks need higher-resolution images — check your photo's pixel dimensions against our Pixel Chart before ordering to make sure it'll print clearly at your chosen size.
