How We Started

In 2005, while ordering prints for their photography business, Ryan Millman, Jon Weinstock, and Harvis Kramer hit a wall: finding a lab with the quality, service, turnaround, and price that they wanted was impossible. Well, if it doesn’t exist, they thought, why don’t we create it?

The trio bought their first printer (a Noritsu) and started printing. It took many late nights, a ton of research, and even a little bit of blood, sweat, and tears to build the lab we know today – one that was built by photographers, for photographers.

Today, the same entrepreneurial spirit that founded Nations Photo Lab exists in our staff of more than 150 photo enthusiasts. Working out of a 55,000 square-feet facility (and now dozens of printers), we’ve helped more than 500,000 happy customers preserve their memories.
